michele nurse (she/her)

Michele centers rest and self-preservation in her practice. She is a founder of ToolShed Boxing and is a trauma informed yoga practitioner.

john lopez (he/him)

John is still learning. He founded ToolShed Boxing with his sister Michele and nephew, as a place for people in the community to explore movement safely. John currently works with ToolShed Boxing as a trauma informed boxing instructor and group facilitator. He also works with the Youth Sentencing and Reentry Project as a Staff Attorney, supporting children charged as adults. John is currently studying for his Master of Social Work at the University of Pennsylvania.

samantha rivera (she/ her)

Samantha Rivera started boxing in 2010 as an outlet to relieve stress and regulate her emotions. Since then, she fell in love with the sport and what it provided her. She hopes that through coaching she can help liberate others to feel the peace, comfort, control, and confidence that the sport has brought her.

At ToolShed Boxing, Sam is a trauma informed boxing instructor. She trains clients and facilitates with the Pressure’s Off program.

nico crachi (he/ him)

Nico Crachi is a Philly based photographer and videographer focused on weddings, events, and commercial projects. In 2021 he quit his 9-5 to pursue his passion for telling others’ stories and never looked back. Amplifying people’s voices, using his art and creative process.

At ToolShed Boxing, Nico oversees content creation, photography, videography and development of the Mirror’s Up program.
