Community Through Healing Centered Training
Who We Are
ToolShed Boxing is a community-centered boxing program built around movement, connection, and growth. We use boxing as a tool for building confidence, strengthening relationships, and creating space for people to challenge themselves and grow.
Our approach is healing-centered, relational, and grounded in the belief that people grow towards and through relationship.
Our Approach
Our work emphasizes bodily awareness, consent, regulation, and learning to recognize and respond to what is happening within ourselves. We use affirming practices and intentional relationship building to create community. People that work with us are seen, valued, and encouraged.
Boxing becomes a way to practice in real time. Setting boundaries, making choices, experiencing challenge, regulating through intensity, building confidence, and connecting. The goal is not to remove difficulty from the experience, but to create an environment where challenge can happen alongside safety, agency, connection, and care.
How To Work With Us
-

Monday Fundays in Allentown
ToolShed Boxing is a community partner in the City of Allentown’s Monday Funday series, bringing movement, play, connection, and accessible boxing experiences into neighborhood parks. These free, all-ages events are an easy way to meet us, move with us, and experience ToolShed outside of the gym. No boxing experience or ongoing commitment required.
-

Individual & Small Group Training
Our training sessions take place in our studio in Bethlehem and are personalized around your experience, goals, and comfort level. Sessions can include boxing, weight training, or other forms of personal training, with a focus on movement, technique, confidence, and connection to your body. 45- and 75-minute sessions are available.
-

School Based SEL Programs
We partner with schools to bring boxing and social-emotional learning together through 10-week student programs and train-the-trainer workshops for staff. Our programs use movement, boxing, and relationship-building to practice regulation, bodily awareness, confidence, communication, and connection, while giving schools tools they can continue using beyond our time together.
